THIS IS A LESS THAN 24 HOUR AUCTION. IT WILL END 1PM EASTERN ON 1/17/12!!!

I HAVE 2-3 BLUE MARANS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. THE REST ARE SPLASH. THEY ARE HATCHING NOW. THERE WILL BE BOTH CLEAN LEGS AND FEATHER LEGS ON THESE CHICKS. IT IS STRAIGHT RUN.

If for some reason not enough hatch, I will let you know. This will be the only auction of these this soon. The next chicks available will be in late feb or march.

We are sending these Express due to the crazy weather. Shipping will be $45. There is no guarantee on lives per usps.

Please be aware of your states shipping requirements. If your state requires additional testing this will not be the auction for you. You must be able to take possession of these at auction end. That leaves the states of HI, VA and SD to my recollection out of bidding.

Payment is paypal and due immediately after auction as they will be shipped in about 3 hours from auction ending. If payment is not received by 2pm Eastern, it will be considered a non-payment.

How is the egg color of your splash and blue marans? I am very interested.

they the 2 eggs, second from left (top and bottom) are Splash Marans. the 2 on the far left are of my Blues and the rest are my black coppers except for the Coro for comparison.

they have been laying between 4-5 with occasional 6 last sept. I do still have some of the original hens in here that were laying 4 or lighter that I got from Prather Poultry. My 3rd generation hen started laying and she is laying between 5-6. So each generation is getting progressively darker.

which is great because I haven't found great feather color and leg color with the dark eggs yet. Most times I have found great egg color with light legs and not as nice of color in the feather or conformation. So these are still a work in progress and will need those that are dedicated to work on the egg color.
