Today we recieved twelve eggs from our twelve hens! That is the first time we have had all twelve lay in one day! One prolapsed yesterday and is in hospital and in the dark and still she laid (and is doing well). [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Thank you!!! It was a great feeling. We had another dozen today. The best part is knowing all the girls are laying and doing well.

What are you going to cook with that new dozen eggs?

When you get an extra dozen, I would highly recommend a homemade angel food cake, which takes 12 whites. I cooked the yolks up for the dogs and fed them to them over a few days.
