I have 12 hens all using the same nesting box. Is that okay? Should I do something to discourage it?

    Not to worry.

I had 36 nest boxes and they used just 2![IMG]

Eee gads, it was like a waiting line at a womens bathroom. They lined up and waited their turns..................it was too funny.

No, it is not harmful at all. Just keep them clean.

Mine do that a lot too. Here are some picture of my birds in their nest boxes.

Thanks. Today, there were 4 hens in one box! The others were empty. We were gone for 2 1/2 days. When we came home, there were 20 eggs in one box, 3 in another and 1 on the ground. The third box was empty. Go figure! [IMG]
