You will get 12+ eggs, my hens are still laying like crazy.
Turkens are a wonderful dual purpose bird that lay a large tan/brown egg. They do well in the extreme heat and the cold. They take very well to confinement and they are great free-rangers. They will go broody if you let them and make very good mother's. They are by far my favorite egg layer that I have, plus I think they are purdy.

What color tail-feathers do you NN's have in the second picture? They appear to be chocolate on my computer screen.

Never payed attention before, but they do look like chocolate to me also. And that would explain my mystery chickens. My last hatch I got 3 of the prettiest chocolate chicks, and I cant wait until they are big enough so I can see what they are going to look like. But usually, they are very light with black streaks through them or red.
