Got some updated pictures of my Wyandotte, Butternut. 'She' is a hatchery splash blr wyandotte, and is 12-13 weeks old in these pictures. Is 'She' a SHE? Or a boy? Thanks for any and all opinions [IMG]

You know what I think already [IMG] , but that last picture shows even more what appear to be developing saddle feathers.

Thanks for the responses, and yep Katy I do take your opinion to heart because I know you are familiar with the breed whether it is hatchery or not. They are actually my first ever Wyandottes so I am very unfamiliar with the comb type and such. I am curious now more then anything.. Wouldn't it be so easy if they could TELL you what they were? LoL All Chickens Become Sexlinks. [IMG]

Butternut is the sweetest one in my group, loves to cuddle in my hands and comes running whenever the door opens lol!

Got some more back end pictures just now, could you tell me what the saddle feathers are? Do hens get these as well, but they are just rounded as opposed to pointy? Thanks for any information [IMG] sorry to be such a newb lol!

Also, the Black/White girl in the background is a Dark Brahma named Monica [IMG] definate girl on that part LOL

    I'm thinking it's a little pullet. Wish I could see it's legs....nice thick legs are a dead give-a-way to a rooster.......
