Hello! We need help identifying our silver laced wynadottes gender. She/he is starting to become very vocal! We are wondering if anyone can tell us if this is a rooster or a pullet? We have our suspensions and are new at raising chickens, so are not really sure if it is a male or female. Thanks![IMG][IMG]

A cockerel would have more white across his back and wings even at a young age so you do have a pullet there. She could just be the dominant hen warning the others of some danger she thinks she's spotted.

It's definitely making different sounds from the rest, almost like it is trying to crow? It's really funny because she is usually the quite one, and now she has been super noisey and frisky. It may just be her personality starting to show :)
