15 week old Rhode Island Red - boy or girl?

Oh that's great! Thank you. We are hoping for at least one rooster and we think we have two, which should hopefully be fine for our ten hens.

It's so easy to do!
I swear chickens like to grow the most confusing tails they can. I try and ignore the tails now. I'm sure the OP can't be too disappointed it's a girl! There are plenty of young men out there.

It's a pullet. 100%
No male feathering, and there absolutely would be by now, pullet face, and tiny comb. Definitely a girl.

We heard crowing this morning!! It was either this chicken or the one I posted about here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/15-week-old-columbian-blacktail-girl-or-boy.1406040/.

If it crows, it has to be a rooster, doesn't it??

We had tried to sex them both when they were chicks by looking at the wing feathers but it's the first time we've had chicks so we were never sure.

If it crows at this age, it's a cockerel.
But both of those are pullets. For sure.

The only other new bird we have is this Exchequer Leghorn:

This isn't a rooster, is it?? This chicken is in the same coop as the two brown ones, and is smaller than them (they were all born on the same day). The rest of our chickens are all definitely hens - we've had them a while and they all lay.
