Sorry no that's my polkie pullet! I posted before uploading. Pics are up now!Is the one you are talking about the one in your avatar?
Could you upload a different picture so that we are able to zoom in on it?
Sorry I uploaded the pics! My avatar is my polkie pullet. I'm ashamed to say that I forgot to clean the toenail clippers before the test and didnt clean between birds. It was a dumb day for meDepends on the accuracy of the company you used, though should be over 99% accurate. Also depends on how careful you were collecting the sample that was sent in.
Can you get a close up of the head, showing any comb? Also close up of saddle area, appears to be a satin.![]()
So the results may not be reliable. Need to be almost sterile between birds to make sure your hands are clean between birds as well.Sorry I uploaded the pics! My avatar is my polkie pullet. Yeah I assumed as much.. I was trying to do it quickly while the kids were occupied. I didnt even clean my husband's toenail clippers before going to town on the chicks that I tested. Both came back as boysSo the results may not be reliable. Need to be almost sterile between birds to make sure your hands are clean between birds as well.
That's what I thought too the more I watched it. What age would be reasonable to "know" since we arent exactly in laying season (missouri)This bird looks female to me.
