It should be obvious right now and I thought I had it right as this guy was in the cockerel pen for butchering, but they’re being picked on really bad lately by the others ( I’m aware that in all cockerels/roosters flocks, the least dominant one will be picked on/mounted but this just seems more intense ) I found them tonight upside down and stuck between some pallets in the barn and when I looked them over, I couldn’t see any male hackle or saddle feathers. Not to mention they don’t have a sickle tail feather starting like the others the same age. Though, the comb seems huge but it’s mom was one of my leghorns and they have big combs just like this guy’s.

I’m honestly stumped right now and I don’t want to mistakenly butcher a pullet. I’ll try to take better pictures tomorrow in better light.

At 15wks, they do look like pullets ... Don't see any saddle/hackle feathering
Yeah, I didn’t either but I don’t know if it was because it was dark out and the light in the tack room wasn’t bright enough? I don’t know, but the overall way they acted too made me think pullet. I guess I can hold onto them for a bit longer and see if I get some eggs out of them or if they start crowing.

I think cockerel as well. I think the shine is from saddle feathers? OP, could you get a clear picture of its back?
I can but not right now. My phone doesn’t like low light/artificial lighting. It’ll have to be tomorrow. That might be why I couldn’t see anything when I tried looking for them, because of the lighting.

I’m honestly hoping it’s a pullet and I made a mistake, because this one has the most spotting on it and I absolutely love it ( and I got rid of my BR rooster as well, so it would be nice to keep something of him ).
His tail looks a bit long and curved at the ends as well.. its most likely a rooster

I had a WTG (they got Leghorns in them) with single comb that had me thinking cockerel, she laid an egg. The one on the left. Hopefully yours will lay instead of crow, it's a 'splash' coloring & very pretty.
