16 eggs, 3 species, 1 homemade incubator: Will it be done?

We aren't counting the chicks before they're hatched...
We're just naming them before they're hatched :highfive:
:lau

Do we have to think of names for the G eggs too?:th

Okay, so the temperature in my incubator is ideal in enough floor space of the incubator to allow for four more duck eggs.
How many more should I ask for? I need to text Egg Man sometime this weekend so I get these eggs before they're really behind.

I also FINALLY got a breakthrough my ideas for an essay that I need to write! I had been :he :caf:barnie for 4 hours straight before I finally :old:yesss:
Halleluja, now I can actually write this thing!

The brahma in that chick is the reason for the light leg feathering.
Really? I would have thought that a Brahma cross would have more feathering on it's toes

Any idea on the single comb? This chick and its doppelganger both have single combs but the only feather-footed roosters Egg Man has are bantam Brahmas.
He has a frizzled black cochin bantam hen but not all of these eggs have been from her and I would think that a black cochin cross would be black.

I think alot of crosses with feather footed breeds mated with clean legs get lighter feathering, but brahmas are already lighter than cochins anyway. I hatched some bantam cochins with a bantam Orpington father, and only the outer toe was feathered. But the single comb could have come from the cochin, if it was a cochin egg. I forget which combs are dominant.
color would depend what color the parents are too. I think light brahma breeds like dominant silver? Maybe? I'm not good with all that, but I had a light brahma rooster with production reds and all the chicks came out white or black/white like daddy.

Thanks! I appreciate your input :)
I think someone else on this thread told me that all of the brahma chicks should have either a pea comb or a rose comb depending. I believe pea comb is dominant. I know that single comb is recessive which is why I'm confused about the single comb with these chicks.
I guess I'll have to wait for them to feather out before I can have more of a clue. So far the only chicks with single combs appear to be from the same cross. It's possible they both came from a cochin egg. I know the cochin he has lays a very light egg; I've seen it.
