Unless you hear cheeping and or they are serama eggs in which you would lockdown on the END of day 16 start of day 17

I'm not meaning to be difficult, but if you lockdown on the 18th day, isn't that a 4 day lockdown? 18, 19, 20, 21? I've not incubated yet, so want to get it right.

You know what? If I set the eggs at night, and I start lockdown in the morning on the 18th day, I don't really worry about it. Too many people get all fired up about exact times and such, and I just don't. If your temps and humidity are good, they are gonna hatch, no matter the time you lock them down.
