17 week Specked Sussex

One of our chickens started crowing last week. I am suspecting the Specked Sussex because of the comb/wattle size on it. My husband disagrees that it's a roo. The one on the very right is the one I suspect to be the roo. The other speckled sussex is the one on the very left.

I see no male saddle, hackle or shoulder feather, which is strange for a 17 week old bird, but I think it is a cockerel nevertheless. Probably just a late developer.
