18 weeks and I still can't tell gender of hamburgh x

    This is my hamburgh x, At first I thought it was a he but it acts more like a she? And my big boy does not chase it away like he does the other roosters.

    2nd pic looks like it has saddle feathers..... Sometimes they don't crow for a while.

    I am thinking I have to wait a bit longer till it either crows or lays an egg!! [​IMG]

    I was hoping I would get mostly the same answer LOL.

    The saddle feathers indicate it's a roo.

    2 x roo
    1 x hen

    I wish it would just crow or lay a darn egg! [​IMG]

    I am seeing the lady I purchased this one from and she said to bring it back if it is a roo!!
