Hi everyone I'm super new to raising chickens I got my first chickens 3 days ago. I got 4 19 week old red sex links. I've read that they are pretty docile and was just wondering if 19 weeks is to old to really tame them. I have a 4 year old and I want us to be able to handle the hens on a regular basis to keep her involved with raising them and collecting eggs. Any info or tips on how to build their trust lol. FYI they don't seem mean at all just a little skittish maybe just because it's a new home. Either way we love our new girls and can't wait to learn more about raising chickens.

[IMG] Feed is the great equalizer. Once they settle in and realize that you are the 'provider of feed' they will become more sociable. Good luck with them.
