My Agnes laid this egg - it's the one on the left. The middle one is from my girl, Shimmer, who is a banty. The one on the right is Maureen's - she's an EE and has been laying pretty blue eggs for a while. Her eggs are large, maybe extra large. But .... Agnes has outdone them all with this monster! I can't close the egg carton! She's actually Agnes the 2nd. I hope I haven't jinxed her. Agnes the 1st died from being egg-bound. All of hers were extra large also. Anyway, for your enjoyment! Wow! [IMG]

    What breed is Agnes?

If she's genetically predisposed to laying that size, perhaps her machinery is also equipped this time around. [IMG]

Atomic Ranch, I hope you are right. She is an EE, as was the original Agnes. I know the egg is hers 'cause I have two "mutts", who lay green eggs, and one EE ,who lays the blue. Yesterday, I got 4 colored eggs! Thanks all for your comments! [IMG]
