1st time chickens

Just bought first house in the country and cant wait to start raising chickens for the first time.

Welcome Dave! Congratulations on buying your first house! We just bought our first house out in the country last summer. I had never had chickens before either, so we started with some young chickens in the 3-5 month old range. This year, we are going to raise some chicks! Be careful, chickens can be addicting!

just be careful i started with 6 chicks from a farm store and in 2 short years i have had over 150 and one time. but now iam down to only 50 or so. lol it easy to get carried away.
