Hi, I live in Carson City. In my first attempt last year I had 4 chickens that I loved. I lost all four to predator hawks over Christmas. I was devistated but I will do it again. This time I will prepare a better coop with a fenced roof over the yard.

So sorry to hear about your chickens - I have never regretted the effort it took to put in a well-built, predator-proof pen. Any losses I have had have been due to human error.

Hi and from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. So sorry for your loss. I too have lost chickens to hawks. They now have a heavy duty netting over their run. No losses since.
