Hi all.

Hoping someone may be able to offer advice. I have a 1yr old red shaver who has a rash sound to her breathing every now and again and a very messy rear end.
I am in rural new Zealand and ita 5.30pm ln Sunday here so no access to vet or farming store until the morning.
I do have some of my children's liquid amoxicillin here and have just worked her as well with ivomec. Should I give her some antibiotics and if so how do work out how much and any ideas/suggestions as to what I might be dealing with here.

She is still laying, healthy in size, alert, eating and fighting me when I tried to bathe her and clean her up so obviously still has a fair bit of energy.

One other thing I noticed was that she had quite red looking under her feet and between the toes but the rest of the leg is normal, no leg mite or anything. Face is clear no, swelling or wearing from nostrils or eyes.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply. How do I treat that? Can I treat it?
Only had chickens a couple of years and never come across anything like this
