My 2 silkie chicks are 2 1/2 months old. One of them seems really skinny. Is the keel more pronounced in silkies, than in standards? Even so, I really think this guy is super skinny. They get medicated mash. I'm ready to take them off the medicated and go to crumble, but I'm concerned about changing anything when he's already so skinny. He eats fine, drinks fine, poo is fine... why is he so skinny? What do you silkie experts suggest?

    Thank you so much!

go to crumbles and also add more protein to the diet. like soybean meal, cooked eggs, meal worms ect. is it possible the other one is pushing it out some kinda hogging the food? that's possibly what's causeing it.

i'd give it treats to so it eats more. we give ours fruits and veggies also but cut them up first. once in awhile yogert and cooked pasta too.

    see if that helps any.
