2.5 Month Old Amerecauna

I have a 2.5 month old Amerecauna. I am now confused as to what gender it might be. At first I thought it was female, but today I just noticed black spots on its tail. It never had that. So now I think it might be a roo. Any thoughts on his/her tail spots? (BTW it is a white-ish/cream colored Amerecauna)

Agreed; trying to ID a bird's gender without a pic is a bit like shooting in the dark. If you can get some photos posted (a good close up of the comb among them would help), we would be happy to take a look at your bird for you. )

Is an easter egger the same as an amerucauna? Or a mixed breed? Thanks!

EEs are a mixed breed were one parent is typically an ameraucana and the other a brown egg layer.
