2 Ayam Cemani- what Gender is this

Hello. Dahli and Loki are 8.5 weeks old. I originally thought one girl and one boy due to Loki being bigger, but now I am not so sure. I was hoping for one girl and one boy or two girls. Anyone able to give a guess? I was leaning towards female because the combs hasn’t grown and the tails seem to be down but I am not an expert at all!! There is just the two of them. The bigger one is Loki, the slightly smaller is Dahli.

Thank you! I was hoping two girls. So funny. We were sure one was a boy in the beginning because loki was so much bigger. Your boy is beautiful! Love the beak and eyes. Good genetics!

It looks like his waddle has started developing too by the pic? When did you start seeing that develop? How many weeks in? My two have not shown a waddle yet. I wasn’t sure when that was suppose to start developing on both the boys and girls

The comb and waddles both start to develop really early on the boys. We’ve only hatched two batches but so far we've been able to successfully sex them at hatch based on comb size. I have some more hatching tomorrow so we’ll see if that holds true for this batch.
