2 day old baby chick gagging

Hey there. This is my first time with baby chicks. She hatched 8 eggs and the last egg that hatched has some health problems. I've read tons of things on here that seem to match symptoms but not fully. It's two days old, very lethargic, it is constantly making a silencing gagging motion, it has a white mucus type poop and it won't eat or drink. I have been force feeding it water but it doesn't seem to be helping much. I am open to any suggestions or advice, I don't know what else to do.

I think you are gonna lose this chick. Esp. from the color of the poop. Yesterday there was another lady with a chick with the same symptoms. It just kept getting worse until it got to the point where she I thinking of putting it down. You could try the emergency nutritional supplement called Bovidr Labs Poultry Nutri-Drench. It doesn't need to be digested. Great stuff. But I think even tho you get this great supplement into the chick, the chick is "not right" and will die.

Did you check the chick for mites? The other chick which had similar symptoms ended up having mites nd is beign treated for it with nutrional suppemtn and mite killing treatments.

As far as the mites thing, it is clear of that from what I can tell. The chick is still living but about the same as earlier. Tomorrow makes day three of this. I really appreciate your feed back and advice!
