2 day old won't stop chirping each time we leave the room!

We got two 2 day old Ameraucana chicks today. One of them is quiet and chilled out, but the other one chirps loudly and frantically every time we leave the room. Any ideas?? He has a buddy in there with him but it's our voices that seem to calm him down right away.

Brooder temp is 90 degrees. The other one is happily sleeping. This guy is only quiet if I'm holding him and he falls asleep. My voice calms him right down. If he's in the brooder though, he runs around chirping so loudly.

He should grow out of it soon.

I feel bad for him. I don't mind snuggling him to calm him but I can't do that all night!

If your chick isn't too cold or hot and well fed/watered, he probably just misses his 'mommy,' that's all! I've had chicks do the same thing where if I leave the room they chirp as if there is no tomorrow and from what I can tell, they just want to be around their owner so they can feel safe and comfy
