2 egg layin hens looking for a home

I am going away for the month of September and I need someone who will take my two hens into their care. Will your flock accept new adult hens? Mine are about 6 months old and lay an egg each, daily.

Try posting in your state thread. If you are looking to re-home them, you'll find a taker. If you are looking for some one to keep them for a month, I doubt that anyone would risk the health of their flock for such an arrangement.

If you're looking for a chicken-sitter, I can try talking to my family members and see if we're able to make a temporary pen for your girls, if we live in the same state and near each other.

No I would be happy to give them to you but if you are willing to take them in for the month I could reclaim them first week if October.

Do you only have those two, or do you have more in your flock? And what breed are they? Mine are BR's and RIR's, so they're all bossy.
