2 eggs in one day???

I have only one chicken old enough to lay eggs. My other chicks are about 2-3 months old, so I don't think it could be them. But, we found 2 eggs tonight in the coop. My daughter and I both looked in the coop several times today and didn't see any. Could a chicken lay 2 eggs in one day?

Many claim that they have had hens do this. If so it is an occasional occurrence.

Yes, it's possible! All sorts of things can happen as one-offs with egg laying, especially if the hen is young.
