Mother Duck said, "Quack, quack, quack!"
Two little ducks came waddling back.

This is the first baby appleyard to hatch. It hatched on day 26.

This is the 2nd to hatch at the very end of Day 28.

This size difference is pretty big. It is not only due to the 1st baby hatching early. The first appleyard was from a larger egg than the second.

Trying to photograh these two was like herding cats.

    Aren't they cute?

These came from eggs from MotherGoose. I have 4 more in the bator due in about 10 days or so.

I am tickled with these 2. They get a Blue Seal gamebird feed formulated for baby chick, ducks, turkeys and pheasants that I found at a local feed store. They also love their morning yogurt. It is so funny to watch them dip their beaks in the cold yogurt. They gobble and slurp and look like they want to wallow around in it.

Wow is it a banner day for adorable overload! Love them MP! Great color! [IMG]

(One of my dewlap geese is small like your little duck. She can't seem to catch up to the others but is thriving so I guess she's alright.)

What cute babies! They are so fuzzy and huggable! Mine are starting to feather out and going through the ugly duckling teenage stage.

I had to laugh at your comment about herding cats. I feel that way everytime I try to photograph mine! Busy little bugs, aren't they???

The cuteness overload at your place must be extreme with all those babies around there. I bet it keeps your toddler busy keeping track of them all. My youngest has her hands full with just the cats. Wait until these eggs I've got in the bator hatch! [IMG]

Miss P, they are soooo cute. I have a mallard hen sitting on a clutch of muscovie eggs due this week or next...oh, there is one guinea egg in the pile too. I have no idea what possessed the guinea to lay an egg with the duck eggs. [IMG]
