I'm not a Polish expert, but I believe it to be a pullet by the way the crest is shaped. Cockerels usually have an out of control punk rocker looking hair do
Thanks to both of you! I breed Salmon Faverolles (and have a flock of variety of breeds) but have no idea with the crested. (And can't keep any more roos without building another coop-have 2 Fav roos in separate breeding coops and Lav Orp roo in main coop) I thought it looked like a girl (the poof) but the tail feathers not being fuller/even length, threw me a little (and can see tiny pink wattles under the beard). However there doesnt seen to be any lift on her tail, and I dont see any saddle feathers yet so was hoping someone familiar with this breed could give some insight!
