2 month old chick mounting hens!

I have a 2 month old bantam cochin cockerel that chased and attempted to mount a large adult Wyandotte hen. He chased her for a good while too. She finally stopped and crouched for him and he seemed to try but didn't know what to do. Has anyone ever had this happen with your little roos? I've heard of some doing this at 4 months but at 2?

I don't think I've ever had a cockerel attempt to mount a hen that young. Feisty little fella!

Yeah it's crazy because he still chirps like a chick.

I once had a little Marans cockerel crowing and trying to mate at 5 (five) weeks old.
The mother hen was not amused.
