I got 3 straight run assorted bantams at Tractor Supply a few weeks ago. One is clearly a Silkie but the other two...I don’t know. I’m attaching pictures of the two 4-5 week old mystery chicks. The darker one has quite a short thick aspect and a nice waffle when it walks. The lighter one seems extremely tall with long legs, a long neck, and an upright habit.
Any guesses to breed? Sex? The dark one is suddenly starting to show a pink-red comb, so I am wondering if we have a rooster on our hands, but since I am unsure of the breed I don’t know how to interpret the comb.
Any help would be welcome.

#1 is a Cuckoo Cochin roo.

Thanks!
I’m trying to learn all I can. What about the 2nd bird hints at being a cockerel?
