From what I understand it will take a few weeks for them to get into a regular cycle. Three of my pullets started laying 4 days ago...so far it is hit or miss if and when they lay.
I kept the girls in the run today, there was a hungry looking red tailed hawk doing laps around the yard. One of the girls laid another egg but the guineas pecked the egg to death. My husband needs to get our coop built completely! I have officially lost my patience!
