I have been involved in a rescue effort for a large number of free ranging peafowl. I have 2 pair that remain from a first rescue as this is an ongoing process.
They have been housed on property that has never been home to any other poultry, etc. and are through their month of quarantine. They have been wormed with Safeguard and treated for external parasites.
The age of them is unknown but the females appear to be at 2 years or younger and the males 2 years or older. Their trains are filling in but this time of year makes it difficult to gauge their age.
They do not appear to be split but there are Black Shoulders on the property. These are India Blue by all indications.
This is a pic at the time of rescue.
