I have been trying to trade these 2 roos for 1 pullet, but there have been no takers....soooo
I am offering these 2 roos for free.
One is a white leghorn and the other is a production red. They are both 5 weeks old, and are very "roostery"

    I am in Dickinson TX

Sorry, I can't help you then, I don't feel comfortable keeping them in box for 2-3 days in the mail for them to travel 20 miles.

If you don't feel comfortable shipping them by USPS mail then there might be other people that would want them closer to your area that could possibly take them which they could end up in the fryer. If you were able to ship them to me they will end up being kept as pets

Quote:Shipping chickens that age is not particularly safe. They do not have the egg-yolk to live on. Personally I'd rather have a chicken with a quick death eaten than starved or roasted in a box in the mail. Also? Pressuring people and emotional blackmail isn't very nice.

I wasn't saying that in a bad way...I only explained it to him/her as it is eventually true

I understand the possibility that they will go in a pot. The only reason they aren't in my pot is my wife won't have it, so I am offering them for free, to someone willing to pick them up. If they want them for pets, thats fine, if not, thats fine too.
