Hey everyone I hatched some ringneck eggs a few months ago and ended up with 2 males and 7 females. Can the 2 males be in the same pen? They were hatched and raised together and have never shown aggression towards each other before. Do you think they will be alright? They have alot of hens.
They should be fine for now, but I would seperate them before breeding season or you could end up with problems!!!
Breeding season is in the spring. I do keep 2 cocks in the same pen and keep peepers on both cocks. One is 100% the Alpha male and I keep the other as a backup. Steve
