2 roosters similar but maybe different??

    I have these 2 roosters they look similar but one slight difference in them I bought this first one as a RIR Rooster[​IMG]
    This second one I got from my dad the slight difference is the white feathers near the base of his tail[​IMG]
    Anyone with an idea exactly what they possibly are

    They are both Brown Leghorns.

    White earlobes is what gives it away as brown leghorn

    Is it the picture, or does the first bird have a heavier body and greenish legs? If so, he's a Leghorn mix. If it's just the pic, he's probably a pure Leghorn.

    The top bird has some feathers on his legs don't know what that indicates

    It means he's a mixed breed bird. Feathered legs is a partially dominant trait. Leghorns don't have feathered legs, so one parent was not a leghorn.
