First off I have 2 goose eggs in the bator and it is day 10. I candled today and saw veins. I have read many posts and have been keeping my humidity up and cooling with mist everyday. Also, turning 3 times a day. Anything else I need to do? Which leads to the.......
Second ? How long or how many eggs does a goose usually lay before she starts to sit? The 2 eggs from above wear just layed in the middle of the goose run outside, so I collected them. I thought she quit laying after that, cause I saw no more eggs. Much to my suprise..... she is laying in the barn and burying the eggs under the straw. I saw 4 when i was in there tonite, but boy was she mad when I got near.
Any advice on both subjects would be greatly appreciated.
