2 Story Coop?

I have an old playhouse that is 8 feet off the ground on pilings. I want to convert this somehow to my new coop. It currently has steps up to it. I'm wondering about design. Should I close in the bottom and somehow try and make access through the floor to the second story for my chics? Should I just use the playhouse as is and let the chics take the stairs or close in the bottom and just use the bottom? I am new to chics so any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thank you.

I think that sounds good. I remember reading about a couple other 2 story coops. Take pictures when you're done!
