2 week old silkies still need heat lamp?

    i live in central east coast florida..nights are 70-75 ish. and so humid....do these babies still need heat lamp...they been outside during the day with temp in high 80's

    I might provide it for another week or so at night. If you have enough they will pile and stay warm. Too many and piling isn't good.

    In the hot months here I only use the lamp at night. Usually by 4 weeks they are good to go.

    i know, i lost one silkie the first week, found it smothered under my frizzle...poor thing
