I was given 2 young R.I.Red roos tonight that are 14 weeks old. They are very tame and when I picked them up I noticed that they were full of what looks like dandruff. I parted their feathers apart and could not find and sign of any type of bugs. Only thing I noticed was on their feather shafts there is what looks like plastic peeling of from the skin up to where the feathers start to open. I think this is normal right? Any info will be greatly appreciated! I don't want to add these to my flock if this is a problem!
