2 Yummy recipes i found online thought i would share

The first is call crock pot roast with gravy

* 4 lbs boneless sirloin tip roast
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, divided
* 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
* 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope brown gravy mix
* 2 cups water
Directions
1 Rub roast with 1/4 cup flour.
2.Put roast in crock pot.
3.In a bowl, combine soup and gravy mixes and remaining flour.
4.Stir in water until blended.
5.Pour over roast.
6.Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender
This is a great recipe and very yummy will be trying to find the site i got it from and give good ratings. O go great with mash potatos and i used a bottom round roast and it still was very tender yummy i think im going to get some leftovers just talking about it
The second one is Easy Peanut butter cookies There is lots of verity s of this recipe on line but this is the one i tried cause it was the easest to rember
Since this is all from my mind i might be of on oven temp but this is what i set mine at
OK 1 cup peanut butter
1 cup suger
1 egg
stir together and shape into ball then make the design with your fork put in the oven for like 10 mins or until brown on the bottom at 350
yummy i got my hole family hooked lol one you start you cant stop eating them tell there gone then you go make more lol

Do you brown the beef before placing in the crockpot?

Not sure if this recipe calls for browning the roast before adding to the crockpot, but I always brown mine in a little EVOO before adding. I have a similar recipe that calls for the enveope of onion soup mix and a can of cream of mushroom soup, undiluted, even though I do add some water after adding some quartered red potatoes, carrots, onions, and sometimes, I add button mushrooms.

I love pot roast, but DH does not... Maybe this recipe will do the trick so he will eat pot roast with me...
