20% all flock and baby chicks

I have 2 laying pullets and 1 that should start any time now. They have been on 20% all flock since 10 weeks old. They are all almost 24 weeks old now and also have free choice oyster shell and grit. I placed my order for my 3 new additions today, which I plan to brood in the coop/ run for an easier integration. My question is can I feed the new fluffy butts the same feed or do they need chick starter.

They can be fed the same. The only issue is the crumble size of the all flock. Sometimes it is significantly larger than starter feed but should still be OK. When a mother hen takes chicks out, she will offer them some particles that are quite large.

So maybe I'll just crush it up a bit. Ty

Nutritionwise it will work well. I've used a blender to chop larger sized crumble to get it baby chick size. Do not turn it into powder if you see them leaving big chunks, just a real quick hit works. After a week or two you should not need to do that.
