We have one more ewe that is needing to lamb. So far for this season we have 1 Nigerian Buckling, 2 Cashmere Doelings and 3 Jacob ewe lambs. Here is what We have to date.
The first two Jacob ewes are going to be 4 horned BTW!!

WOW!!! I have never seen a spotted sheep!! Of course I haven't ever seen a sheep up close. We had a guy behind my parents house that used to raise the white ones. But I haven't been back that way in years. Soo cool. I hope to one day get another goat and maybe a sheep. Just not sure about the shearing part. BEAUTIFUL BABIES!!!!

I just added the baby of our 4 horn ewe... she needs more color, but she will produce some good babies when mated with a great Ram. Which we happen to have! [IMG]

Will she stay black and white or do they change(develope the brown like mom) as they get older? We had a goat that was born jet black but ended up a tan color and having a white spot on his head after he lost his baby fuzz. Not sure how sheep work tho.

Quote:Abigail is a Jacob. That is all we have here. They are amazing animals, more like goats than sheep. My wife and I love the Jacob breed and they were on the endangered list not so long ago. They still need a lot of help to get back to the numbers that they should have to be prolific.

Quote:They will turn brown just like their parents. The black stays on the legs and face. They are amazing animals and they are making a good comback from the endangered list.
