2022 chick order!!!

I wasn’t planning on buying chicks, I was just going to hatch them out, but chicken math exists, so I ordered some chicks to come in May! 8 Welsummers, 11 Whiting True Blues, 4 Easter Eggers, and 4 Bielefelders.

I was snooping hatcheries this morning but i dont want any of the breeds most have so Ill just hatch my own i would love russian orloffs though but not this year I have enough birds lol

Um... you must be talking about wild birds, right? Because "enough chickens" is like "enough chocolate." There is never enough.

Now, DH thinks I have enough chickens. I have to get over that hurdle.

I do have enough husbands!

I realy need people to post pictures of day old chicks so I can separate mine when they arrive

I *might order from a hatchery here in Slovakia. If I do so I'll probably get a few Marans, Brown leghorns a bantam Wyandotte and a Padovana (looks like a Polish). And I'll hatch some Silkie mixes too.


Okay maybe a couple of brahmas too

Change of Plan: I'll hatch

- 6 Polish eggs
- 5 Silkie project eggs

And I'll buy 4 brahma chicks
