I would like a fence of chestnut split poles, with wire. Meant for sheep. I think it will look great around my small veggie/fruit garden. Meant to keep my chickens in, during winter. And out during summer. With the sharp point up.

Not for my ducks, but for the poor wild Mallards living on my pond that seem to be always hungry and come running to my house whenever they see me. At the moment it is not possible to put a feeder out for them, because showers are in the forecast for the next ten days and the only feeders i have are open, so the food would be ruined.

Could you maybe put a dish of feed out for them each morning? Just an old aluminum pie pan or something, with a few small holes in the bottom for drainage? The feed will get wet and mushy, but they'd likely eat it anyway.
