We've been wavering on it because power outages are actually quite rare for us and because the dual-fuel ones are so expensive.

The next big investment is a gas fireplace because we had the lines run this past summer.

I have this one,, and it has worked trouble free since 2017. Can be mounted outside of coop, or inside. Inside mounting is suggested to have an external sensor,,,,, unless coop has many windows to activate light sensor.
May be slightly pricey,, but well made so well worth it . Change battery once per year. No electricity needed inside or near coop.:thumbsup
Have raccoons in my area, and they never succeeded in opening it.
This is the one we were planning on installing based on reading numerous reviews and a lot of the advice here - glad to hear another great review.
