Greetings from Kansas, Jordan1987, and :welcome! Happy you joined us. Unsure what to advise...I know chickens in the old days survived just fine scrounging around and table scraps...but with today's scientifically formulated feed....I think I would consult the directions on the bag. Here's the link to the Learning Center section on raising baby chicks....hope you find some good advice!

    Out to pasture
[IMG] It would be good to put a cover on their feeder, since they will end up pooing there into the food.

G’Day from down under jordan1987 [IMG] Welcome!

As you have already received a link to a great starting point, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
