22 week old chickens still don't use their roost...

They're 22 week old pullets and cockerels and they still sleep snuggled up in a group in the corner. It's cute but... Shouldn't they be roosting by now? Do I really have to put them to bed?
 
You don't have to put them to bed - they'll figure it out and roost when they're ready. It's really not hurting anything for them to huddle together to sleep.
