I have two silkies that I am unsure of. Neither have crowed or laid an egg. Both have some male and female traits. The partridge has what look like streamers and a small bump on its comb but it's not really noticeable. The white one has a flat comb. They are both hatchery silkies. [IMG]

I'm thinking cockerel on the white and pullet on the partridge, but I could be wrong.

I'm thinking just the opposite, would like a good look at the Partridge silkie's comb.

I don't see anything screaming cockerel with either one so I'm leaning toward pullets on both. However (as can clearly be seen in this thread), young Silkies can be notoriously difficult to sex and even experienced chicken farmers can be fooled by them.

You can see there is a narrow little bump but it is really small.
