23 weeks old and still no eggs

    What gives? Are there particular laying dates for certain breeds?

    Americanas
    Golden Laced Wyandottes
    Golden Campine
    Partridge Cochins
    Light Brahmas
    Delaware
    Black australorp
    Sexlinks or Productions

    And a buff brahma rooster in a pear tree ......

    They're on a layer crumble with free choice grit.

    No Eggs!!!

    Hmmm ... I wonder if they will all start laying at once then? Maybe the "you first" syndrome. Lol.

    They will start right after you go out and buy a couple of dozen eggs. LOL.

    [​IMG] That's why I think every time I go to the store and buy eggs! My 8 SLW are over 4 months old and realize it's too bloody hot to want to lay an egg right now so am patient to wait until cooler weather. Hopefully I won't have to wait 23 weeks! That's 6 months old!
