24 hour old Mallards!!!

I was ecstatic when I arrived at tractor supply this afternoon to pick up chicken feed to see that mallards had literally just arrived for my picking, my daughter chose these two cuties, hopefully we get a male because she loves the green head!!

Them having these mallards made me feel better about their crappy customer service, out of all those strong men that worked there I had to Laos a 50lb bag of feed myself at 37 weeks pregnant, thanks guys!!! Not.

Anyways, thanks for looking at our new cuties!

They are messy but I just pick up the poop and clean the water often. They are SO much more docile then chicken chicks!!

we burried a little kids pool in the ground in their pen when we had them. They were much more vocal that our chickens and fun to watch play in the water. we actually had one lay an egg in the pool...lol.
