25 week cochins..no eggs..just beautiful

My farmstore cochins think they are too pretty to lay eggs. I might have to agree with them. They think they are showgirls The softest chickens I have ever petted. A pic of their boyfriend a 19 week old blue partridge Brahma and my boxer puppy wishing she could get in the chicken pen with me.

Pic #2/Red, #5/Buff, #11/Wyandotte combs are red, maybe coming into laying.
Once they start "squatting" for you, it's about a few weeks off. To determine who's laying, you do the pelvic check ...

Cochins are late layers... I have 2 and they're 6 months and still no eggs. I don't expect to see any eggs until they're 8 months old or even until the spring.
